Good teaching practices within everyone's reach
The Teaching Innovation Support Office launches a digital publication with 29 innovative experiences from Comillas and other UNIJES centres
The Teaching Innovation Support Office (OAID), in collaboration with Comillas Pontifical University Publications, has coordinated the preparation of a publication where 29 good university teaching practices are collected, carried out by more than 50 teachers from Comillas and other UNIJES centres. It is a compilation of experiences that arose from the last Conference on Good Teaching Practices, held in June 2023, and which aims to disseminate and recognise the innovative work of teachers in the field of teaching.
The publication is structured in three thematic blocks: Learning and Service, application of new methodologies and digital tools for teaching. The Learning and Service block, which occupies most of the publication, includes 13 good practices that combine academic learning with social commitment and responsibility. These include projects such as that of Professor Rosa Salas, in which she involves Education students in the creation of resources adapted for students with special needs, or that of Elsa Santaolalla, in which she involves her students in the development of mathematics training plans for rural schools in Guatemala, as well as other projects by ICAI and ICADE.
In the words of the OAID director, this publication "aims to inspire other teachers and contribute to an environment of collaboration and continuous learning". This initiative, which will continue in the coming academic years, shows the commitment of Comillas Pontifical University to the continuous improvement of university teaching.
Access the publication of good teaching practices here, or download it via Google Books, Google Play Books or the Comillas shop.
