Biblical colloquium on prophecy and the book of Numbers

Last Wednesday, October 9, 2024, took place the Colloquium of the Revista Bíblica, organized by the Asociación Bíblica Argentina and the Revista Bíblica, with the Professors of the Faculty of Theology Pierfrancesco Cocco and Marta García Fernández.

This Colloquium, which was broadcast online, took place in connection with the article published by Professor Pierfrancesco Cocco in the Revista Bíblica, entitled "Would that they were all prophets! Glimpses of synodality in the book of Numbers?" (vol. 86, no. 1-2, 2024), where the author and Professor García had the opportunity to comment.

Professor Pierfrancesco Cocco holds a PhD in Biblical Sciences, Department of Sacred Scripture and Church History and is an expert in Sacred Scripture, especially in the book of Numbers. He has published numerous research articles. In addition to the one mentioned above, he highlights ""And as an oblation, a tenth of a measure of fine flour" (Num 28:5). The use of sōlet and its meaning in Numbers"(Teologia Y Vida. 2023. Vol. 64, no. 1, pp. 39-59).

Professor Marta García Fernández holds a PhD in Theology from the Department of Sacred Scripture and Church History and is an expert in Sacred Scripture, with special attention to Prophecy and Consolation. Her latest publications include Jeremiah ( 2024 BAC).
