Comillas, among the world's top universities committed to the SDGs
The University Impact Ranking 2024 is published, ranking the university 27th in the world and first in Spain in SDG 8

Times Higher Education has just published the results of the University Impact Ranking for 2024, a classification that seeks to identify and highlight those universities that excel in working with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs of the United Nations). Comillas Pontifical University occupies a prominent place in the ranking, especially in SDG 8, Decent work and economic growth, in which the university is ranked 27th worldwide and as the first university in Spain. Comillas also stands out in SDG 13, Climate Action, ranking among the top 100 universities in the world in the achievement of this goal, in 96th place.
With its work based on the SDGs, Comillas Pontifical University seeks to create a more sustainable, inclusive and resilient future, addressing global challenges from a holistic approach.
To compile this ranking, Times Higher Education evaluated 2,152 universities from 125 countries. The ranking reflects the efforts of universities around the world to develop strong international partnerships and cooperate to achieve all the SDGs, recognising the fundamental role of academia in driving sustainable change.
