Comillas transfers the memory of J. R. R. Tolkien to the Carlos III University
An exhibition that brings the figure of the writer closer and seeks to show his work with a different approach: more than modern high-fantasy narrative
15 February 2024
The exhibition dedicated to J. R. R. Tolkien, author of books such as The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, organised by the Comillas Comunidad and Library Services can be visited once again. On this occasion, it will be exhibited in the hall of building 14 (Humanities) at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. The "Totus Tuus" Catholic Alumni Association at the aforementioned university has included this bibliographical exhibition in the activities organised, from 12 to 16 February 2024, around the figure of the writer.
It is a collection that speaks of the man, of the storyteller, of the universe he managed to create and that allows his many fans and the general public to discover new aspects of his work. The exhibition could be visited from the 1st to the 12th of December in the Comillas Campus Life space at the Cantoblanco headquarters and from the 13th to the 21st of December in the library.
It is a satisfaction for the Comillas Comunidad and Library services to contribute both to the promotion of culture, a key tool in the personal growth of individuals, and to the greater dissemination of the Library's collections in the university community of the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
