The short course entitled "Christianity and Islam in History and in today's world. Topics for debate" will be held from 3 to 31 March 2025 in the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters at the Autonomous University of Madrid. The UAM and Comillas are joining forces in this course to reflect on fundamental issues of religions today. The course is coordinated by Pedro F. Castelao, Professor and Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Theology at Comillas, together with Carlos de Ayala and Alejandro Sánchez, from the UAM.
On behalf of the Faculty of Theology at Comillas, the following professors will participate:
- Marta Medina, with the theme "Women" (Monday, 3 March).
- Santiago G. Mourelo, with the subject "Incredence" (Monday, 10th March).
- Julio L. Martínez, with the theme "Freedom" (Wednesday, 12 March).
- Javier de la Torre, with the theme "Homosexuality" (Monday, 17 March).
- Carmen Massé, with the topic "Right to life" (Wednesday, 19 March).
- Jaime Tatay, with the topic "Science" (Monday, 24 March).
- Carmen Márquez, with the topic "Interfaith relations" (Monday, 31 March).
