In the context of the meeting of the Sisters Servants of the Daughters of Charity of the Province of Central Spain, Professor Carmen Massé accompanied a day of analysis and reflection on 19 October on the Dignitas infinita declaration on human dignity, issued by the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith.
Starting from a solid foundation offered by the document itself, it focused on some current violations of dignity that the same Dicastery wanted to underline. The care of the beginning of life and the attacks against it, the requests for death, the complex reality of sexuality today in our societies, migrations, slavery... all this from the context of our country and the mission of Charity that so many sisters and collaborators carry out in favour of the most vulnerable.
Professor Carmen Massé García holds a PhD in Theology, from the Department of Moral Theology and Praxis of Christian life and an expert in Bioethics and Moral of the person. She is also the Director of the Master's Degree in Bioethics at Comillas and a member of the Advisory Board of the Chair of Bioethics at our University.
