Driving sustainable digital transition through new assets
Comillas hosted the Token World Conference 2024, a space where international experts explore the challenges and opportunities of tokenisation for a sustainable digital economy.

Comillas hosted the Token World Conference 2024, a meeting organised by the blockchain ecosystem Alastria and the Comillas-CMS Digital Transformation Observatory. Under the slogan: "New Assets for Sustainable Digital Transformation", the event brought together experts to discuss the potential of tokenisation in a sustainable digital economy.
The event was opened by Javier Ibáñez, lecturer in Business Law and co-founder of Alastria, María González, managing partner of CMS Spain, and Miguel Ángel, president of Alastria, who contextualised the creation of Alastria and highlighted the importance of a space for sharing knowledge, especially in areas such as blockchain.
During the day, various panel discussions were held on MiCA regulation, governance tokens and the token economy in the metaverse. In addition, topics such as digital identity in token transactions were also discussed. The challenges of tokenised payments and startup financing were also discussed, highlighting growth opportunities in the digital ecosystem and its European economic context.
Undoubtedly, the Token World Conference 2024 is positioned as a key forum for the exchange of ideas and progress in a regulated and sustainable digitisation.
