Summer Course: Injury Biomechanics


The Injury Biomechanics course provides students with an in-depth understanding of biomechanical principles applied to human injury, including the mechanical behaviour of tissues and mechanisms of injury in different parts of the body. Through theory, laboratory practice and biomechanical data analysis, students will learn to develop and apply injury criteria in contexts such as automotive safety and injury prevention.

Dates: June 9th to June 13th 2025.

Course description

  • Duration: 1 week (30 hours).
  • Credits: 3 ECTS.
  • Language: English.
  • Place: C/Alberto Aguilera, 23, Madrid.
  • Requirements:students who are studying for a degree, preferably between the second and third year. If the course is taught in English, a minimum B2 certificate in this language will be required.
