Summer course: Introduction to Python for STEM careers


It provides students with the essential knowledge of Python, one of the most relevant programming languages in the context of Industry 4.0, artificial intelligence and data processing. Students will learn basic Python syntax, control structures, data handling, object-oriented programming and how to work with libraries such as NumPy and Pandas. In addition, they will acquire practical skills to write efficient code and maintain interconnected applications using RESTful architecture.

Dates: June 23rd to July 1st 2025.

This course is ideal for students who want to start programming in Python, a fundamental tool in many scientific and technological disciplines. Course description

  • Duration: 2 weeks (approximately 30 hours).
  • Credits: 3 ECTS.
  • Language: Spanish.
  • Place: C/Alberto Aguilera, 23, Madrid.
  • Requirements:students who are studying for a degree, preferably between the second and third year. If the course is taught in English, a minimum B2 certificate in this language will be required.
