INEA begins the academic year as part of Comillas Pontifical University

The Escuela Universitaria de Ingeniería Agrícola (INEA) has just completed the process of full integration into Comillas Pontifical University. This marks the beginning of a new stage after 60 years of teaching experience and six years of teaching, attached to the Jesuit University of Madrid, the Degree in Agricultural and Agro-environmental Engineering, both on-site and online.

"The INEA programme has evolved with the needs of the labour market, the new contexts of agricultural policies and competitiveness in areas such as innovation. Its commitment to sustainability is today its hallmark," says INEA's director, Felix Revilla SJ. In fact, its academic contribution will grow next academic year 2025-2026, with the Master's Degree in Production and Management of Organic Agriculture, a new official master's degree that will be taught online. Revilla hopes to reach an international audience and enrich the experience of organic farming in different parts of the world.

INEA has a campus of 200,000 square metres and offers an agro-ecological and sustainable project aligned with the IV Universal Apostolic Preference of the Society of Jesus on the Care of the Common Home. The building is located in a privileged and inspiring environment for this commitment. It is also of academic value for other areas taught in Madrid, such as the Degree in Gastronomy and Culinary Innovation.

Students will be on equal terms with those enrolled at the other Comillas centres. They will have access to grants and scholarships. They will enjoy the use of the facilities where they are located. They will participate in studies and research projects developed on any campus.
