On 24 October, Professor Pedro Rodríguez Panizo, from the Faculty of Theology, was a speaker at the Theology Week of the Faith and Development course at the Valladolid headquarters of the Society of Jesus in Castilla y León.
His lecture was entitled "Where is God experienced in our world?In it, he developed a phenomenological understanding of the concept of 'experience' in order to move on to the self-transcendence of everyday life. He then delved into the Christian experience of God and the experience of Jesus as a central model, connecting science and spirituality and proposing responses to the challenge of scientism, under the necessity of respect for the Mystery. Finally, he dwelt on the experience of God as love and active daily life that listens to the suffering of others.

Professor Pedro Rodríguez Panizo holds a PhD in Theology, from the Department of Dogmatic and Fundamental Theology, and is an expert, among other disciplines, in religious fact and Fundamental Theology.
