On 1 and 2 October 2024, the XXI Conference of the Faculty of Theology at Comillas took place, entitled, in this edition, "The Church: identity, reform and dialogue. On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Ecclesiam suam", and coordinated by Professor Ángel Cordovilla. We now publish, in video, the conferences given.

On the first day, the Conference was inaugurated by the Rector of the Comillas Pontifical University, Antonio Allende, SJ, and by the Dean of the Faculty of Theology, Francisco Ramírez, SJ:

This was followed by a talk by Andrea Riccardi, President of the Società Dante Alighieri, entitled "Il mondo dell'Ecclesiam suam", in Italian and with simultaneous translation into Spanish:

Afterwards, Samuel Sueiro, Professor of the Faculty of Theology, gave his lecture "The identity of the church: origin, nature, mission":

On the second day, the conference began with a talk by Eduardo de la Hera on "Intra-ecclesial dialogue". Then, the Professor of the Faculty of Theology, Julio Martínez, SJ, continued with his lecture "Theological foundations of dialogue":

Then, Professor and Head of the TUP, Carmen Márquez, was in charge of concluding the morning of this second day of the Conference with her talk "Dialogue is open: The ecumenical commitment of the Catholic Church":

In the afternoon, the priest and Secretary of the Episcopal Commission for the Doctrine of the Faith and of the Episcopal Subcommission for Interconfessional Relations, Rafael Vázquez, gave his conference "Interreligious dialogue, second circle of a colloquium of salvation":

The Conference concluded with the closing conference by the Bishop of Palencia, D. Mikel Garciandía, and his talk "The dialogue of the Church with atheist and secularised humanity":

We would like to thank the speakers and attendees for the success of these days of reflection dedicated to Ecclesiology.
