The former student of the Faculty of Theology Daniel Cuesta Gómez, SJ has published the work "La religiosidad popular. Lugar teológico para la nueva evangelización" (2024, ISBN 978-84-293-3100-4) by Editorial SalTerrae, part of the Loyola Communication Group.
The following is a summary of the book:
Daniel Cuesta Gómez, SJ meticulously unpacks how faith lived in the streets, in the traditions and in the heart of communities, holds deep theological wisdom. He explores the term 'theological place' from the perspective of Pope Francis and enriches it by revisiting the work of Melchor Cano. This exploration reveals that our most sincere expressions of faith are in fact divine revelations that enrich and renew evangelisation in the contemporary world.
