Good teaching practices are multiplying at Comillas
The number of good teaching practices is growing, four years after the start of this initiative by the Teaching Innovation Support Office
7 May 2024
On the way to the fourth Conference on Best Teaching Practices at Comillas, the Teaching Innovation Support Office (OAID) wanted to take stock of the achievements in the area of educational innovation, highlighting not only the increase in participation and the quality of the proposals presented at these conferences, but also the recent publication in digital and open access of a monograph derived from last year's conferences.
This publication contains a total of 28 good practices, an increase of almost 40% compared to the previous year. The number of authors on good practices, 51, has also increased compared to the previous year. In this case, up to 60% more. The third best practices conference was attended by teaching and research staff from all the schools and faculties, as well as from CESAG and the IQS (Instituto Químico Sarriá). Thus, up to a total of 80 teachers and researchers, 50% more.
For this new edition, the OAID will continue with its initiative to generate a digital publication (with ISBN and DOI) from a selection of the best practices that are presented, as well as some recently completed innovation projects that are considered particularly relevant. In the words of the director of the OAID, Susana García, the aim of this initiative is to "facilitate the dissemination and academic recognition of the authors' good practices".
The 4th Conference on Good Teaching Practices at Comillas Pontifical University will take place on 5 and 6 June in hybrid format. The call for contributions is still open for all the PDI of UNIJES.
