Leaders in and out of the classroom
The Comillas Class Leaders project seeks to train students to be multipliers and dynamisers of the university community
4 December 2023
Comillas Comunidad and the Comillas Alumni Service organised a meeting to present the Comillas Class Leaders project, an initiative that seeks to promote the leadership of delegates, sub-delegates and promoters of clubs and associations in order to turn them into multiplier agents of university life and dynamisers of both the classroom and the alumni network.
The event, in which 160 students took part, was inaugurated by the Vice-Rector for Alumni and Students, Belén Urosa, and by the directors of Comillas Comunidad and Comillas Alumni, Irene Maestre and Virginia Tolín, respectively, who encouraged the participants to take on responsibilities and to strengthen their commitment to the university.
After the presentation of the project, the participants received two talks on leadership, one of which was given by Pablo Urbano, co-founder and director of Operations at AUARA, and another by José Negueruela, lecturer in personal skills at Comillas.
This first meeting was also an opportunity for attendees to network and get to know each other.
