Class Leaders discover the magic of mindfulness
Delegates, sub-delegates and representatives of clubs and associations enjoyed a day that tested their attention and helped them develop new leadership skills

The Houdini Room in Madrid, the most important magic room in Europe, hosted the event for our Comillas Class Leaders. An event promoted by Comillas Comunidad and Comillas Alumni which, without a doubt, tested the attention span of the attendees and which had great protagonists on stage, among them our students.

The day began with a welcome from Virginia Tolín, Director of Comillas Alumni, who thanked the students for their commitment, especially in sessions like this one, and highlighted the important role that delegates, sub-delegates and representatives of clubs and associations have as agents of change at the university.
Next, Fernando Tobías, lecturer, gave a masterclass that challenged the students to put all their senses into the different games and anecdotes he told. By listening to what was going on around them, reflecting on those things that were really important to them and coordinating their psychomotor skills, our class leaders gradually obtained tips to improve their attentional competence.
After him, Gerardo Martínez, resident magician of the Houdini Room, performed an experimental show that left the audience speechless. Gerardo, with the help of our students as assistants, pulled out his best tricks, making everyone wonder, "how did he do that?"
Irene Maestre, director of Comillas Comunidad, closed the meeting by encouraging the class leaders to put into practice everything they had learned in the session, boosting their leadership, inviting them to shine and make them shine, to transform the university and the world around them.
