On Wednesday, 9 October, the 10th Conference on Safety and Risk Management in Mental Health was held at the Official College of Doctors of Navarra, where various experts came together to reflect on and debate the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in medicine.
Organised by the Sisters Hospitallers of Navarra, the event highlighted the importance of technological innovation in healthcare, as well as creative measures in personalised care mediated by AI.
In this context, Professor and Director of the Chair of Bioethics at the Faculty of Theology, Rafael Amo, participated as a speaker, addressing the ethical framework for the use of AI in medicine. In addition, our Professor delved into the bioethical challenges of AI, recalling that the criteria of the well-being and dignity of the person cannot be replaced by AI.
