Monsignor Raúl Biord Castillo, SDB, Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Caracas (Venezuela) since 28 June 2024, has visited the Faculty of Theology at Comillas Pontifical University.
Monsignor Biord is a member of the Permanent Commission of the Venezuelan Episcopal Conference, President of the Episcopal Commission for Ecclesiastical Circumscriptions, member of the National Pastoral Institute and of the National Pastoral Advisory Council.
Last Tuesday, 8 October 2024, the Archbishop of Caracas held a meeting with professors and students of the Faculty of Theology. In this coffee-talk, Monsignor Biord shared the current situation of the Church in Venezuela, as well as the pastoral work he is carrying out. The professors and students in attendance engaged in a dialogue and exchange, where Monsignor Biord acknowledged the theological work of the Faculty of Theology at Comillas.
