The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (Comillas ICADE) presented the awards for the best End-of-Degree Projects in the Dual Degree Program in Business Administration and Management and Business Analytics for the 2021/2022 academic year.

The rector of the university, Enrique Sanz, SJ, presided over the act, accompanied by the dean of the faculty, Teresa Corzo Santamaría, and the vice-dean for Institutional Relations and Research, Javier Márquez Vigil. The dean introduced the event, congratulating the winners and thanking the sponsoring companies. Javier Márquez named the awarded students, who had the opportunity to briefly present their work.

Juan García-Hidalgo Velilla received the Accenture Award for his work “Plan de Negocio para un proyecto de Emprendimiento: ONEPEAK”, directed by the lecturer Verónica Fernández-Trapa Diaz-Obregón.

The ADEFAM Award went to Carmen Sánchez Avedaño, for her work “Search Fund: respuesta al problema de la sucesión en la empresa familiar en España”. The lecturer Carmen Escudero Guirado was in charge of directing this End-of-Degree Project.

The Award from the Agrupación de Madrid whithin the Instituto de Censores Jurados de Cuentas de España (ICJCE) recognised the work of Manuel Martín Albert, "The impact of accruals over the abnormal returns of firms in the STOXX 600 and S&P 500 by sectors”. The work was directed by the vice-dean Javier Márquez Vigil.
Marta Lillo Díez recieve the Aquanima Award for her work “Implementation and development of sustainable practices within procurement deparments”, directed by Manuel Morales Contreras.
Cristina González Barthe was recognised with the first EY Award for her work “ClimaText and ClimateBert, the ultimate team for the disclosure analysis of climate-related financial risks”, directed by María Coronado Vaca.

EY also presented a secondary award, which went to Óscar Llorente González, recognised for “Electricity Price Forecasting with Transformers”, a work directed by José Portela González.
Iberdrola also recognised the work of two students. The first Iberdrola Award went to Antonio Jesús Ariza Abengózar, for “El hidrógeno como activo de inversión: oportunidades de inversión en proyectos sostenibles en España”. The work was directed by te dean of the faculty, Teresa Corzo.
The secondary Iberdrola Award went to Enrique Nieto Poza, for his work “El sobreconsumo: Una amenaza global a la sostenibilidad del siglo XXI”, a research directed by Laura Gismera Tierno.

Vicente Balmaseda del Campo recieved the Management Solutions Award for “Predicting Systemic Risk Using Deep Graph Learning”, a work directed by María Coronado Vaca. Management Solutions also presented two secondary awards.
Their award went to “FORECASTER. Aplicación web shiny para el análisis y la experimentación de modelos de predicción de series temporales”, a work by Pablo Chaure Cordero. The lecturer José Portela González directed the end-of-degree project.
Marta Valero González recieved the secondary Management Solutions Award for her work “Análisis del impacto de la regulación europea orientada a impulsar la divulgación medioambiental en la actividad empresarial”. María Coronado Vaca directed this work.
