25 October 2024
Once again, Comillas held the 26th edition of the Employment Forum. An initiative, organised by the Servicio de Orientación en Carreras Profesionales, Prácticas y Empleo, which on this occasion counted on the collaboration of more than 130 leading companies in our country. Organisations from the legal, economic, social, health and engineering sectors had the opportunity to present their job offers to our students.

During the previous weeks, students have participated in different meetings focused on getting the most out of the forum. Talks on professional opportunities, workshops to build their curriculum or LinkedIn profile or training to be able to do interviews and give an elevator pitch.
As the rector of the university, Antonio Allende, SJ, pointed out, the relationship between Comillas and companies is fundamental. "Ninety-five percent of our graduates get a job during their first year," he stressed.
Likewise, as María Fernández, director of the service, pointed out in the session to welcome the companies, this edition had a special feeling, as the legacy of M.ª Victoria García Mellado, director of the Office of Talent and Enterprise, was remembered.
