What does this doctorate consist of?
The Doctoral Program in International Migration and Development Cooperation is part of the Comillas International Doctoral School, which organises seminars, courses, workshops, conferences and congresses for doctoral students from all over the University.
This program is aimed at those who wish to train as researchers and acquire the necessary skills to write a doctoral thesis in the area of migration and development cooperation, which will allow them to join R+D+i tasks in the academic, public or private sector.
It has a faculty of lecturers specialised in international migration and development cooperation.
The training received prepares students for the following professional profiles: Researcher and lecturer in higher education institutions, experts, advisors and consultants as high-level professionals in any organisational area. And leaders and heads of department and senior researchers in public or private organisations where related activities are carried out.

A maximum of four years, full-time, and seven years, part-time, from admission to the program until the application for submission of the doctoral thesis is made.
No, you can defend your thesis at any time if it is admitted for defence, but you should note that the minimum tuition fees are three years full-time and five years part-time.
Initially, it is advisable to contact the program coordinator to assess the possible line of research and thesis supervisor. Afterwards, you will have to register in the admissions portal and upload the necessary documentation, depending on the program this documentation may vary, please read carefully the information note of the selected program where the required documents are detailed.
