PhD Program in Health, Wellbeing and Bioethics
Joint doctoral program with the University of Deusto and Ramon Llull University.
What does this doctorate consist of?
The program is part of the Campus of International Excellence Aristos Campus Mundus 2015. This initiative is the result of the strategic aggregation of three universities of social initiative (the University of Deusto, the Universidad Pontificia Comillas and the Universitat Ramon Llull) and includes an advanced strategic cooperation agreement with Georgetown University, Boston College and Fordham University.
The program is based on an interdisciplinary approach to processes related to health and wellbeing, with a focus on future models based on the interrelation between different healthcare perspectives centred on the person. Its particularity is that beyond the strictly biomedical dimension, it incorporates attention to the social and environmental conditioning factors that contribute to the well-being of the person from an ethical perspective within a legal framework. All this from an inclusive perspective, assuming the reduction of social inequalities in health as a cross-cutting strategy.
Research in health, wellbeing and bioethics, a necessary synergy for a better future.
You can take this program with the International Mention.
The program can also be taken as an Industrial Doctorate.
