The title Specialist in Bilingual Teaching in Spain: Methodology and Evaluation in the English Language is offered in collaboration with Escuelas Católicas de Madrid as a training program for people who are in Spain collaborating in the BEDA Program as conversation assistants, in order to better adapt to their interests and needs.
The title Specialist in Bilingual Teaching in Spain: Methodology and Evaluation in the English Language is created as a specialisation of the course "Methodology and evaluation of the teaching and learning of English in the classroom". In this way, English language assistants take a specialist course that shows them how to plan English classes, classroom management, the different methods of teaching English and English grammar, and preparation for the Cambridge exams.

Objectives and methodology
The objectives of this specialist course are as follows:
- To become familiar with Spanish legislation in the field of education.
- To understand the functions of student language assistants and how they can collaborate in an educational centre.
- To become familiar with the organisation of an educational centre that uses methodologies applied to foreign languages.
- Know the common terms and concepts in English language teaching and the options and resources that can be used in the classroom to reinforce them.
- Know the skills needed to be able to plan a lesson framework or series of lessons.
- Knowledge of what happens in the classroom during language learning, the role of the teacher and the ways in which they can manage and exploit classroom events and interactions.
- Knowledge of a developmental approach to teaching and learning in which subjects are taught and studied by means of a language which is not the learner's mother tongue.
- To know how pupils are assessed according to their educational level (Infant, Primary, Secondary, Baccalaureate and Vocational Training). This specialist is based on an active and participative methodology. The teaching modality will be blended learning, completing the classroom training with training on the online platform and with the presentation, at the end of the course, of a personal project.

Each class has its own tutor, whose function is to integrate the student into the group and to pay attention to their academic performance. Furthermore, at Comillas, the teaching system is distinguished, among other characteristics, by the personalised attention and the fluid and permanent relationship between teachers and students.
The teaching system at Comillas is especially oriented towards the relationship with the reality of companies, institutions, organisations and professional practice. The Internship and Employment Office is responsible for providing students with internships related to their studies in order to enrich their training. In the 2017-18 academic year, 6,296 student internships in companies were managed.
In addition to these internships managed by the Internship and Employment Office, all degree courses have a significant number of compulsory external internships as part of their curriculums.The Internship and Employment Office informs, guides and collaborates in the insertion in the labour market of recent graduates or in the projection of the professional career of Comillas graduates, for which it has an online tool that puts candidates in direct contact with 5,078 companies with which Comillas maintains a relationship. During the 2017-18 academic year, 1,838 job offers were managed. Of the total number of graduates from the 2018 graduating class, 93.22% are employed, either working or furthering their studies, within six months of completing their studies.
