The Universidad Pontificia Comillas continues to hold the European quality seal Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R). Since 2019, it has held this recognition, positioning it at a European level in quality criteria, and driving the attraction and retention of talent.

The European Commission recognizes in this way the institutions that, like Comillas, generate a favorable environment for research work, ensuring that the hiring processes for researchers are open, transparent, and merit-based. “This distinction allows the university to be more competitive when seeking European funds, as Europe values this type of accreditation in the granting of research projects,” says Carlos Rodríguez-Morcillo, director of the Knowledge Transfer Office (OTC) at the University.

Comillas has analyzed the regulations, procedures, and current activities followed in the university and has developed an action plan to continue developing its internal human resources strategy and to seek excellence in researcher recruitment, promoting their professional career, interdisciplinarity, the dissemination of job offers on European portals in English, and the training and professional development of researchers.
