On 7 November 2024 the collective work Teología europea. Memoria, sentido, futuro was published by Editorial PPC (ISBN: 9788428841733), coordinated by Susana Vilas Boas and Tomás J. Marín Mena, current doctoral student of our Faculty.
In this work, the Professor of the Faculty of Theology Nurya Martínez-Gayol has published her chapter entitled "Inclusive Synodality", within the part aimed at reflecting on the current challenges for the European Theology of the future.
Below is a summary of the book:
This collective work has emerged as a result of what a group of researchers exposed and dialogued during the I International Symposium on Current European Theology, which was held in Granada in the month of May 2023.
The three words that mark the subtitle of the book - memory, meaning and future - provide an internal logic to the work, which serves to deepen in a triadic and sequential way the theme that brought together seventeen international authors: European theology. Memory of the past, meaning of the present, challenges for the future: where do we come from or what brought us here, who are we or why do we do what we do, where are we going?
Professor Nurya Martínez-Gayol Fernández holds a PhD in Theology from the Department of Dogmatic and Fundamental Theology, and is an expert, among other disciplines, in Theology of Reconciliation, abuse and authority.
