The EY Voice, held last July, saw 20 participants selected from over 300 applicants. During the competition, the participants tackled a series of challenging questions, with the final question standing out: "Are companies responsible for the health and wellbeing of their workers?" In this phase, the Comillas student had to demonstrate her skill and versatility in defending both the position in favour and against the question posed.
The competition was intense and demanding, starting with 20 participants that after several rounds were reduced to 10, who advanced to the final phase held on Friday in the emblematic EY tower. During this stage, the finalists presented speeches defending both positions on the central question. From this round, only four people advanced to the semi-finals.
In the semi-finals, Sánchez-Terán defended the opposing position and, after a convincing speech, moved on to the final where she finally argued in favour, winning.
At the end of the competition, the student expressed her gratitude and satisfaction: "EY Voice has been a unique experience of intense training in public speaking. I want to thank EY and LEDU for giving us 20 participants this opportunity, as well as doing it in such a unique place as Alcalá de Henares".
Comillas congratulates Paz Sánchez-Terán Manzanedo for her outstanding participation and triumph in the EY Voice competition, an achievement that reaffirms the institution's commitment to academic excellence and the integral development of its students.
