The Faculty of Theology at Comillas Pontifical University hosted the award ceremony for the 6th PPC Young Theological Essay Prize which, in its sixth edition, went to the former student of the faculty, Inés Fernández de Gamboa for a work entitled "Guided by the Spirit. Christian spirituality in dialogue with today's world".

The work, which will be published by the PPC publishing house, arose "both because of its topicality and because of the need I saw to approach it from a sincere and critical dialogue", acknowledges the author, who studied for the title of Specialist in Biblical Spirituality. Fernández de Gamboa adds: "This recognition is an immense joy. Firstly, for feeling once again that God is counting on me. Secondly, for seeing that my experience and training, with its lights and shadows, can shed light on others. And thirdly, for seeing how the hours of effort have borne fruit. This award is also an incentive to continue with my studies in theology," she said.

The award ceremony was attended by the author herself, the global director of PPC, Pedro Miguel García; the editorial director of PPC, Francisco Javier Navarro, and the faculty professors Carmen Márquez and Fernando Millán, who after the award ceremony held a dialogue with the winner in which they discussed issues such as the dialogical nature of Christian spirituality, the ecclesial dimension of spirituality and Ignatian discernment.
