The Department of Culture of the City Council of Cartagena has awarded this Prize to the work of our Professor "Las sílabas del cielo"

On 11 November 2024, the work and author of the 38th edition of the Antonio Oliver Belmás International Poetry Prize, organised by the Department of Culture through the Popular University of the City of Cartagena, was announced. In this case, the Prize has been awarded to our Professor Víctor Herrero with his work Las sílabas del cielo.

Professor Herrero, who beat 9 other finalists, will publish his collection of poems with Editorial Pre-Textos.


Professor Víctor Manuel Herrero de Miguel holds a PhD in Theology from the Department of Sacred Scripture and Church History, and is an expert, among other disciplines, in biblical literature. His publications include Carne escrita en la roca. La poética implícita del libro de Job ( Verbo Divino 2018).
